So true

An opportune moment to quote Grace Dent's uncanny prediction some moons ago

"Another very talented girl, Janet, with a rather mesmerising Laura Marling-type voice sang Your Song, causing the audience to erupt and the judges to announce she had star quality. Obviously, the best thing Janet could do now is work with someone who'd give her young self time to develop gradually as a modern folk act, playing to her strengths, instead of being on ITV1 until Christmas and forced to sing Waterloo by Abba on 70s week or appear in hotpants with a cartwheeling dance troupe, honking through Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne, then being nagged for not dancing enough, then dispatched on the X Factor tour, fifth on the bill under Mr "I had sex in Faliraki" Tattoo Arse. It's not too late Janet. Run."

I saw Misha B on This Morning (I don't usually watch daytime TV, honest!), she was as smug as smug can be - she knows that not winning is the best thing.

I saw a few people on Facebook posting links to some kind of fixing "scandal" involving the winner's single by Amelia Lily available to pre-order, not sure how true it was, didn't look at the article properly.

I don't really care who wins, would prefer it not to be Marcus as don't feel he really has any future as a pop star, he's much better suited to cabaret or musical theatre in my opinion.

I've been avidly reading "What Tattoo" and wondering what to have inked on my flesh.

It's either the above or "in with anger out with love" in Chinese.

NETTE

"in with anger out with

> love" in Chinese. Japanese = 怒りと愛と

As you can see Japanese is more aesthetically pleasing and has a sad face in a crash helmet - 怒り - and a couple of schnaebs - と - separated by a miniature mexican cowboy - 愛 - doing the splits! Surely that says it all.

- personally I'd go with Greek as it gives you more outs.

    • Thats the problem, I dont have a solution, but I can see disadvantages of some of the proposed solutions.  Not selling it to a foreign company is my preference but after that I have no idea of the best path / solution with the least impact for all. Whats your view Sue ?
