I'm a Celebrity...............................

Actually EDKiwi I recall from her first appearance, reading reports of Jordan making mock of Andre's 'little bombadier', so maybe things will come full circle.

I reckon she'll present initially as fragile and easily broken as a china girl and God knows I'm good enough to give anyone a chance but I reckon she may not do herself any favours in reclaiming her former image of caring sharing ordinary mum.

Still time will tell.

I think you have something there EastiesEL, it's best to watch something that will provide potential recipes for food that is traditionally edible as opposed to the scary molluscs and glands consumed on IAC.

We are hungry men and sometimes require inspiration.

Ghastly woman, put me off watching. She's even more orange than George Hamilton and I had to turn the brightness down on the telly because of those gleaming pearly whites. Closure this closure that, "I wanna put closure on me an Pete." Closure closure closure. If she says that one more time I'm switching off.

Easy to comment sitting at home but imagine an EDF equivalent broadcast on TV. For maximum conflict /eye candy / political correctness ratio required my picks would be:

- Macroban

- Legal Eagle-ish

- Sean McGhabhan (peacemaker, cook, likes eating bugs)

- Big Bad Wolf

- Jumpin' Jackflash (Eye candy)

- Daizie

- Brendan (Camp joker, good with fires )

- The sushi lady from outside Moxons

Then just as the camp settles I'd thrown in......

    • Anyone upgraded their TV for Christmas?! I'm looking for a smallish Smart TV I can use with earbuds. Not more than 56cm high and  25cm deep. A 26" one used to fit.  Thanks!
    • It wasn't an antique and bric-a-bac shop but an antique market with a number of different traders, the cafe supported all the dealers in bringing in custom, and was good enough to generate trade for them. It was Rodney Franklin's and his partners enterprise, he previously had an antique shop in Queenstown Road in Battersea. His late wife ran the cafe (she was a very fine actress, it was a 'resting' job).  It was on the corner of a junction on the left as you head towards Camberwell. And almost opposite, if memory serves at all, an MFI style furniture outlet.
    • i used to go there in the late 80's and '90s (?) the food was served cafeteria style and there was limited choice, but what there was alays tasted amazing!  The garden was an absolute paradise, you could sit in it to lunch in the summer!  i've tried to locate its site but Walworth Road has changed so much since then - does anyone remember the house number?
    • This is very true. For some people, not even just the elderly, their pet/s may be their most important companion.
