Hi all.

Not really sure what to call this, but my wife has mentioned she'd like it, so thought I could get it for her birthday next month.

Essentially, she wants someone who could advise her on the best styles of clothes, and best colours to choose that best suit her colouring & build.

I'm assuming this is something she could have a session or two with someone with a good eye for such things who could suggest what would best suit her.

Thanks in advance!

Personally I would recommend booking her at one of the major dept stores (Selfridges,John Lewis, etc)

There is no charge for their services and their stylists shop the store and everything is under one roof with choice of brands etc so no dragging around different shops.

Most personal shoppers can also give advice about what colour will suit her etc.

As an ex stylist (of 25years experience) I really would recommend this route rather than pay an independent stylist

I've used the personal shopper service provided by John Lewis and they do offer a colour consultation as well if you need it - it s a very good service and I came away with clothes that really suit me but that I would never have picked off the rails for myself.

I used the personal shopper at John Lewis and it was brilliant (and free) and would definitely recommend to anyone! The stylist was really helpful in getting me things that were fitting and flattering my shape.

You could also get your wife a gift card so that she can buy some of the items at the end.

Good luck and I hope your wife has a great birthday!!

I've never seen foxes and cats fighting but once saw two cats squaring up to each other and a watching fox went up and butted its head against one of the cats.  There's a video on youtube of a cat and fox facing off when the cat is eating outside, but it wont let me embed on this post.  Get too close and I'll scratch you. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2022/oct/15/urban-foxes-are-they-fantastic-or-a-growing-menace My main issue is leaving things out like gardening gloves and they go or are shredded.  One stole a bag of bird food in front of me, took it next door, shredded the bag and then left it.
