Board Games?

Hi all,

So I need recommendations on really good board games for my husband. We already have Pictionary. Cranium, Articulate, Trivial Pursuit are the obvious choices, but I want something different.

I was thinking of getting either Settlers of Catan (played it during a week away with friends about 5-6 years ago - I remember it being great) or the London Game (the London underground game). Two very different choices, I know!

Any thoughts, insight, suggestions are very welcome.

Modern Art, The Really Nasty Horse Racing Game, Carcassonne. Very different to each other but all good fun for people who like board games.

The London Game is good fun - we play that as a family (my kids are grown up) every Christmas. Scattegories is also good, though you don't need to buy the game, you can just use pencil and paper.
