Hello, Does anyone know of any climbing, basketball or badminton clubs that are local to Peckham, East Dulwich? My sonβs weekends are full of football and rugby training but Iβm struggling to keep him busy (off a screen!) on week evenings. Iβve looked into the London Community boxing but sessions sadly start at 4.30 and heβs not back from school until 5.Β Any recommendations gratefully received!Β Β -
Be careful out thereΒ !Β Β I got a ticket for 1 minute overΒ on Lordship LaneΒ Β ---- with a blue badge , on a single yellow ...Β Β I returned at 4.03pm to find the ticket -- he waited till 4.01pm with ticket and then scarperedΒ Naturally i appealed it and this was the response Β We refer to the informal challenge you have made against the issue of the Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) JK17113680 You were parked on a single yellow line with one yellow kerb marking. There is a sign at the location advising that no loading is permitted Monday-Friday, 7 am to 10 am, and then 4 pm to 7 pm. Loading is permitted for a maximum of 40 minutes between 10 am and 4 pm, and then again after 7 pm. You were observed parked at 4:01 pm. and therefore issued a PCN for parking at a time when the rule applies. The purpose of this rule is to improve traffic flow and safety at all times. This contravention is immediately enforceable, and therefore, a PCN can be issued straight away as no observation period is needed. This rule applies to disabled badge holders, too; it is not a situation where you may use your disabled badge. Although your Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) was correctly given, we have cancelled it on this occasion, as a gesture of goodwill. Please note that this cancellation does not set a precedent for other PCNs issued in the future under similar circumstances, as each case is dealt with on its own merits. Yours sincerely Anita Hayler Southwark ParkingΒ

Closed this evening at 7pm (Tuesday). Perhaps worth ringing first to check if itβs open?
