The outdoor skating rinks are fun. I've been to Greenwich and the one in the Aldwych (M House??) - both are fun and very festive. I think there is also one at the Tower of London.

Not East Dulwich, but, Brockwell Lido has its "Icicle Swim" on Saturday 22 December.

We're off to Covent Garden this afternoon. Food fair (lots of samples), fantastic Christmas Lights and, if you're prepared to queue ice skating at Somerset House afterwards.
