Was anyone else on the 176 at about 9.30am when a drunk man got on?

He eventually buggered off, but I am getting really tired of violent drunk people getting on that bus - especially in the morning!

The driver is safe and protected, and young women and children are exposed! Ridiculous!

ooooo now ya got me finking about the story me bro told me about the time a drunk person wouldnt get off the routemaster he was driving (me bro not the drunk)... he took him back to the garage but still wouldnt get off so he drove round and round in circles til he fell off the end of the bus :D class!

She got on, declared to the driver that her destination was Harvey Nicks where he should wait outside as she was going to have Christmas purchases sent out by the staff. She then started hitting passengers about the head with her handbag and demanding that they got out of her cab.

The transport police wrote the following report.

Fracas on 176 bus in the East Dulwich area during morning rush hour:

Perpetrator was a highly intoxicated retired bricky of Pengeian extraction. When officers arrived on the scene the perpetrator was wielding a hand bag as an offensive weapon and dressed in a full length black dress, hat and high heals from various haute couture houses. Officers were over-powered and perpetrator is still at large. Described as highly volatile and bearing a striking resemblance to Liz Hurley.

    • Another recommendation for Niko who identified a leak in my lavatory and sorted it.  Helpful and good to deal with.
    • The SSRS app (Safer seas and rivers service), is worth downloading. It gives you real time updates on water safety / sewage discharges. It's pretty eye opening / alarming, how regularly areas are not safe, but reassuring when you do get the 'all clear'.
    • The programme was brilliant and makes me wary now of sea paddling as so many areas affected. My daughter was working at a bank when privatisation of utility companies were floated. Bank advised its staff that only x number of shares could be purchased by individuals as Government rules at that time. She reported that certain people were seeking double and triple shares. Bank told her to ignore the guidelines as those customers had thousands of pounds in the bank. She was so disgusted at the banks attitude she handed in her notice, She decided that the financial world was too corrupt. Two degrees later - she now works in the NHS as an OT in mental health unit.
