Looby5
HiI've just moved to the Nunhead/East Dulwich/Peckham Rye Park area with a 3 week old baby boy and would be interested to hear from anyone who would like to meet up and the various clubs/groups going on. I missed out on the whole ante-natal/NCT thing so it would be great to meet other mums.ThanksLouise Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/22275-new-mum-new-to-the-area/ Share on other sites
espelli
Hi Louise,Welcome to the area. Have a look at the Winter babies club thread, there is a meet up on Monday mornings at The Gardens cafe. I have an 11w old boy and am happy to meet up in the afternoons if that is easier - I am only just starting to get out and about in the mornings now and found it impossible in the early days! amyw
Re bf in public... Don't feel silly about taking your bf cushion if you need it.I took mine to the gardens cafe in case the couches were busy and it made feeding much easier! I'm not very discreet, IAt 3months old I still have to have a bare boob to get him on properly but I just cover up once he's on.
