where to find last minute christmas lights?

Just a quick question in case anyone is around on the forum tonight and know's the answer....

does anyone know where to find last minute twinkly lights for the Christmas tree around East Dulwich? We plugged ours in today only to find out they quit working and now i fear most places are sold out (already checked sainsy's and a small local shop). any help would be appreciated!

Could try Woolworths in Rye Lane, they normally have some in.

I bought some from Dulwich DIY today for just under a fiver.

Yep, I saw a load of different types on sale this afternoon at Dulwich DIY for about ?4.95, or thereabouts. They even had about 6 different types hanging up and switched on, so you could see what they look like. Might nip in tomorrow as one of my sets has just suffered their annual breakdown!

That DIY type shop which has bins etc outside. Near the El Paso place. Great lights in there!
