I'm annoyed at being in today, as I booked the whole 2 weeks off back in September so I could finally spend some time with my new missus, only for them to nick a day off me last week because the manager was too spineless to stand up to a bully who basically told him he was having this week off. :X

Not doing anything much though, and plan to leave on "a visit" at 3 latest!!!

please help me....yesterday and today from 12-8pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and there aint one f-ing thing going on. F*cking madness if you ask me, nut then again you haven't asked me and if you did you'd just get a mouthful of verbose nonsense.

So.................

Still recovering from flu/sore throat & that did not help the throat much! All five people within hearing range are now confused.

Still bored. :'(

    • Hi, I accidentally drove off and left a red travel longchamp bag with various clothes / makeup in on Dovercourt Road earlier today... if anyone managed to pick it up please do let me know!  Nothing valuable is in it, just clothes and make-up that I'd love to get back if I can!

    • Looking at the areas which will be receiving funds, there seems to be a couple of pretty fundamental flaws with the scheme. In many of these areas, spend isn't migrating from high streets to online, there simply isn't any disposable income to migrate. No amount of tarting a place up is going to change the fact that these places are the poorest and most deprived in country - people simply have nothing to spend. Secondly, a lot of these areas no longer have an extant retail infrastructure to improve upon - it went donkey's years ago, along with the pubs. My childhood high street is getting a grant. Maybe they'll liven up Market Street by celebrating our notable locals - they could commission a Ricky Hatton mural, a statue of The Moors Murderers or a 'Walk of Shame' pavement for Harold Shipman's victims (it's quite a long street). But, whatever it is, I doubt it's going to show a decent return when the only businesses still trading are 'Bargain Booze' outlets, Bangladeshi takeaways, bookies and barbers.
