A very funny evening! Verona if you are that much fun after 1 Port, I loved to see you when you've had 2!

My food was lurvely, Tandoori Chicken Masala - very spicy and tasty.

All the staff were very attentive, with top marks going to 'Poppet' who recognised Mr Palaeologus from his previous visit some 10-12 years ago.

Loo wise - the ladies loos really do need a new lock on the door as the current one doesn't work :-$

Great evening, lovely to see you all.

Um, well, I cant do Thursday 21/8 - I can do any of that weeks nights before then! But, you know, you could all go along without me, no, no, enjoy yourselves....

How about 19 or 20 August? Coriander I think was the next on the to do list and then the Mirash - and then I think we will have done them all - EXCEPT that is, if somebody knows otherwise!

    • Couldn't agree more with these great reviews for Paul and his colleague Damian. We had an issue in which our earth and live wires had been installed the wrong way and Damian fixed it quicky and for a really reasonable price. Would definitely use again
    • I had this problem. The only way I could resolve it was by phoning the number of the letter. I was set up over the phone having already registered for an account. The instructions on the letter are not correct as a code needs to be inputted. I do now have my permit.
    • A friend of mine was into "skill swap" about 40 years ago. It wasn't within an organised scheme, she just offered services like help with painting in exchange for services received. She upset some people as they carried out their services for a living, I.e. for money. An organised scheme sounds much better.
    • Gosh, that is a blast from the past.  Friends in York were into this, he was an accountant and had things like decorating done in exchange.  Not sure if it was equivalent in terms of hours, and I recall HMRC being interested as it was a way of tax avoidance.   A link for a London wide scheme but have no idea of its popularity: https://www.londonwide.letslink.org/members/index.php
