fashion suggestions aside, it's been too long since I went to a curry club so I'm aiming for this one. Probable +1 as well

I've used Swadesh for delivery a couple of times recently and as well as decent scran, I found the delivery guys to be top-notch and unreasonably cheeful in vile weather so I'm well-disposed to them

Judging by facebook updates, Jaws is "coming to terms" with her first Naga encounter, but I had a grand evening

EDF poster and Swadesh head honcho - happyman - and his team looked after everyone in grand style. The menu at Swadesh is interesting in that it's short and selective rather than the usual a million-dishes-with-small-variations approach and my chef's special delivered on it's promise of hot, sweet and sour tastes

The rstaurant itself is also looking sharp compared to it's previous incarnation and was nicely busy on a freezing January evening.

It is competing in the same game as the other curry houses on the Lane rather than doing anything truly different - it's no Tayyabs for example - but it's definitely one of the better ones locally. and I'll be back

I thoroughly enjoyed it and loved the food!!! Even did a top table booking which for up to 6 people gives you 50% off food at the moment..

So glad I was already up and gone by the time the Naga bit Jaws in the arse!!! (love you baby really)

xx

    • @Sue think this is your quote.  It wasn't binary, good Vs bad, and Corbyn had a lot of popular support, as evidenced by the previous election. He had aot of good policies, some picked up by others since. He was defeated by a mixture of a right wing press, good targeting  but the Tories, 'Get Brexit Done" and for some that Johnson was a funny loveable rogue/fool/liar/philander/opportunist.  I wouldn't see perceived least worst candidate out of the two major parties as being "good sense'.  We imagine that Corbyn would have been terrible, but we don't know.  He would have taken a stronger line against Israel in Gaza, not sucked up to Trump nut on Russia?
    • We have had 4 greyhounds - the last one, a bitch, was not speyed so we  had to pay for that at our local vet.  Only one dog was nervous around children and only one was cat friendly.
    • Apologies on the tardy reply, but thank you everyone for your responses and suggestions! Unfortunately I couldn't attend the recent EDF drinks because of work (I know right). But will absolutely keep eyes peeled for the next one and try and come down!
    • Because of the weather which delayed completion with roofer only being able to work certain days, it was up from November - end of January. Went slightly higher than gutters (we also had guttering replaced).
