I think Felicity may, once again, be jesting

But I was already worried about numbers versus space at Omrith - still at least we won't be bringing this many people to That Other Curry House - the one which insisted on a 7 tier ordering system

No, no.. those aren't tears, just water in my eyes

We'll file that one under "boisterous" shall we??

Biggest night yet, in the smallest curry house yet - I'm not sure they are used to dealing with parties of 20 but apart from a few delays (all dealt with with charm by the waiters) it was a top night

I had a brilliant night.. Great group of peeps and I agree with SM biggest yet and I think best yet.. Service was a little slow on the drinks side of things at first but once they got going they were great.. Portions were big, menu had loads of options, food was yummy.. Music did get a little techno crazy kind of mid meal but then the noise of us drowned it out to be honest..

Next time I am going to not have a starter because by the time my enormous main came I was so stuffed I couldnt eat very much..

Fell in to bed at 11.40 (very late for me as you know) and I was full to the brim..

I LOVE curry club..

x

Great night indeed - there was some confusion with who had ordered what and they were a little overwhelmed - but with a ?500 bill, the Manager was happy.

I think that we may need to start eating earlier, it does take time to deal with large groups and so we did finishing late. I fell into bed at about 12 stuffed to the brim.

Thanks all.

    • Hello! We are relocating abroad and so will be withdrawing our two children (ages 4 and 6) from St Dunstan’s College (Catford). If any family is considering enrolling children of a similar age, now would be an excellent opportunity—we’re required to pay full‑term fees unless the places are taken. Please get in touch if you’re interested or know someone who might be. Thank you!
    • Hi  I really thought I'd seen a more recent post on the forum about home education meet ups. I can't find it though. • Thanks for your reply. I’ve subscribed to Ancestry a few times in the past but felt I wasn’t using it enough to warrant keeping up the subscription.
    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
