And I wasn't a bit embarassed by the rousing chorus of "happy birthday". Really I wasn't. Tuneful, harmonious and heartfelt. What more could I ask for.

Yes a very nice evening with good food. I particularly enjoyed my dish, embued with the exotic flavours of the bark of the Wakaka Tree, which only grows in northern Iran.

I really liked it too and great to see some different stuff on the menu.. I had the quail which whilst very tasty was fairly anorexic and the butter tandoori which was just a little bit of heaven for anyone who loves creamy curries, and thank you Georgia for my egg rice it was actually quite a nice change! Rice stealer!! ;-)

All the good food and conversation, papadums and booze for ?25 and a stumble home, to be honest it just doesnt get better than that! Nice crowd last night..

Twas indeed a great night, lovely to see everyone, my dishes could have been a little more spicey.
