i just played a game of singles with the badminton pro that was at the harris girls school - he wanted to see my skill level for tightening the racquet strings. we arent even playing the same game - i can barely move my forearm after 15 minutes with him. Are we playing anywhere on weekdays this week?

Nick, that is great. Those guys on Tuesday were very good but we are only beginners still but i felt that we had improved our game quite alot (especially Mogs and those fast blasts to the middle). As discussed, you,me, Mogs, Andrew and maybe Simon is up for Thursday and i have someone else that may come too. Someone has to book Thursday though???

Unfortunatly I'm not available this week as I am going Scuba Diving - thanks to another forumite.


But would be up for a game mid week - I like the courts at Camberwell as they have a car park too. Happy to organise just let me know if you can make the following dates Thursday 20th 7pm onwards, Friday 21st 7pm onwards or Saturday 22 but have to leave at 11:30 so an earlier the better start for me and I can do lifts


Camberwell is all booked for Thursday 20th Evening 8pm - 9pm - Everyone Welcome

and go for a drink after?... i have never quite understood people sweating their butts off, a bit like Aced outs gang on the other thread running around and around Peckham Rye, East dulwich Road, up and down LL and Barry Road and then undoing it all by having a piss up in the clock house. :)-D

without a doubt, we have been having pretty regular games saturday mornings in camberwell. we generally play doubles, etc and its a little less intense than the midweek singles sessions weve been doing. I personally think we should make the move to the harris girls school gym as its the same price and the courts are significantly nicer. midweek camberwell sessions are also not really doable for me.

      Hi there,  I wanted to give a big shout out to Kushy Move. An idependent letting agent on Bellendon Road. My family have used Kushy's services for more than 20years. He knows the market in this area very well. He has always found us incredible tenants promptly, and has got a fair price. He looks after our tenants and our properties well. He has always given very good advice when assessing our properites.  With so many letting and sales agents in the area (and I have dealt with a lot!), I have always found Kushy to be straight forward and no nonsense.  Highly recommended!
