Twas good fun on Wednesday. It's a good thing there were only the 4 of us, as they'd messed up the booking, and in the end we were lucky to get 1 court let alone the 2 we'd actually asked for.

Anyway, we had a real good run around, I was knackered at the end of it.

2 courts booked for next week.

Keef mate, sorry for the delay & thanks for booking the courts in the Lovely Baggis absense...

Bags ~ will you be cycling? I've 2 boxs of Stubbis for your school as requested, also I picked up some schools vouchers at Sainsburys in case you collect them.

PCG are you able to offer lifts this week or is car still poorly? Much appreciated if you can, but if not no worries.

Mike, Keef, Mrs Keef & Asset... see you there?

Cheers Gex

Ahhhhhh how cute a crocodile walking in the wind, I was thinking of cycling but in this weather that is near suicide & utter madness but I guess if we walked close enough together we could all ensure that the wind didn't whisk anyway off.

Cheers windphobic Gex

Mike - what is the phobia of wind & I dont mean the flatulent type??

PRE-WARNING & POSSIBLE APOLOGIES!!!

Hi all, due to the horrendously gusty winds I can't even consider riding Otis to work today, however the last time I got a bus home on a Weds I dint get home til gone 6:45pm, I was considering taking my Badminton stuff to work & going straight from there but cant figure the logistics of getting there from Bermondsey... :-S

Bags ~ I will text you of my homeward progress & if it looks like I am getting nowhere with the bus then I will have to stand down for tonight :'(

Good Luck one & all, wrap up warm & keep safe, better yet, stay indoors unless you really have to venture out ~ Gex

Damn, I came to work without my stuff so if I can get home before 6pm, change & get back out again alls well but I usually have to wait at least 20mins for a P12 home from Bermondsey which then takes at least 40mins plus the 15min walk up to my road from bus stop so I will do my very very best but its kinda out of my hands.

Cheers for the info - Gex

Aww - thanks for remembering - unfortunately I've already made other plans for tonight, but bear me in mind for another time!

    • By now you’ve hopefully seen that our main demonstration against Trump’s state visit is in London on Wednesday. Many of you have also asked, though, about how you can help ‘welcome’ Donald Trump to Windsor when he arrives there tomorrow (Tuesday) evening. So here’s the plan: We’re asking you to come and line Windsor High Street tomorrow in a peaceful, static protest.  Time: 6pm, Tue 16 Sept Location: Assemble outside Windsor Parish Church, High St, Windsor SL4 1LS and then spread out along the High Street. Grab some cardboard and a pen and make a homemade sign to show Donald Trump and his supporters what you think of them!  The world’s media will be in Windsor to cover the state visit, so showing visually that he is not welcome will send an important message far and wide. If you are coming then please join this Signal chat group for important updates.     Protest safety Please buddy up and come with someone else You have a right to peacefully demonstrate, but we are expecting a high police presence. Remain non-violent and non-confrontational, and do not talk to the police. It may be better to dress inconspicuously, not like an ‘activist’ We plan on ending at 7.30pm. Please leave in groups of 5–10 and make sure you have a bust card This action is entirely legal but we still recommend that you read this key advice when going on a protest to know your rights. Remember:  No comment No personal details Ask ‘under what power?’ No duty solicitor Don’t accept a caution Here is the protest support line: 07946 541 511 and here is more information on Stop & Search under the Public Order Act.   Thank you for being part of the movement against Trump. In solidarity, Stop Trump Coalition
    • We booked a day when we could drop around 8 bags. They directed us to use the rear entrance on Carver Rd. I would definitely ring as they don’t seem to have much space at the back. Our experience was great, they were very polite and thankful.
