I often go but am not going tomorrow and think Fi is not going herself either (she's the organiser) but there may still be a collection of mums meeting up....

It's lovely!

Childspace is a parent run nursery and is open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 9.00 - 2.00. As a current parent I recommend it highly. There is a paid nursery work at each session and each parent helps one in every seven sessions their child attends. There is a maximum of seven children per session which makes for an intimiate caring environment. Each session costs ?21. The website is www.childspace.org

    • No problem. I think it is also worth saying, in light of the recent Panorama programme, that we, at No-Flies, are completely independent and do not have referral arrangements with solicitors or surveyors. We believe that both buyers and sellers should be free to make their own choices on who they wish to instruct - though we are happy to provide recommendations and will try to warn people off firms with whom we have had previous bad experiences.

    • I noticed more butterflies than ever this year - lots of red admirals and white ones. Couldn't understand why, then found this. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2025/jul/18/big-butterfly-count-uk-numbers-recovery
    • Had a Red Admiral in front driveway today. Hadn't seen one for some time
