Parking near Kings hospital

I have an 8am appointment tomorrow at kings, which I'm assured will take no more than 40 mins.can anyone recommend any free parking nearby at that time? Thanks. Not sure if I can park at fox on the hill or nearby roads

Hi you cannot park in the fox on the hill as it has cameras now. My husband believes that you can park in Ferndene rd which is by the side of Ruskin park just check the time plates.

Ferndene Road has paid parking from midday till 2pm only (not sure if it?s like this for the whole of Ferndene but certainly for part of it).

I park in Sainsbury?s car park and walk up through the estate, past fox on the hill and down to kings.

I was under the impression that Sainsbury's car park now has a limit of 2 hours

You can probably get away with parking in or across someones drive nearby at that time of day, as they may have already left for work. If your only going to be an hour or so, they will be none the wiser as they will be at work all day, and by the time they come home, you'll be long gone.

I managed to cycle in the end, but there was lots of parking on Ferndene at that time in the morning.free until 12 o clock.

Unless they work Nights and will be returning home after a long Night shift.

Isn't getting the bus a bit easier than parking half a mile away?
