Tuesday was spent in bed with a poorly bum. This morning I managed to get up at 5.30am, avoid the QE2 Bridge closure traffic chaos and be outside my client's offices in West Thurrock at 7.15am. I also achieved having nothing more than a yoghurt to eat today and as result have achieved hunger. Better safe than sorry after yesterday.

Yesterday after a 7 hour long meeting I managed to settle a dispute that has been going on between 2 major stakeholders who are part of the body that makes up my employer. It was due to go to court in a month or so. After placating egos on both sides and letting grown men whinge like little girls I came up with a workable solution for both sides.

Did I get any thanks for it? Did I fuck!

I have so far disassembled some shelves (cleverly identifying I would need an Alan key to do it AND finding the right one), relocated said shelves (which I should add r rather heavy), relocated the last of the boxes that have needed shifting, shouted at Fred and Roodie for smashing my candle holders :'( yes I know they didnt mean to do it, cremated my brekkie while getting engrossed in the contents of the fridge and now I'm about to tackle a very old looking computer desk and the bed! :))
I have found my missing for ages Funkadelic CD in the attic and loaded onto my desktop and Ipod which was immensley satisfying. I have beeen on Betfair and looked at my P&L for Cheltenham which was less so...Manu u to score more than 4 against Derby will help claw something back....

I have managed to achieve having my name as the "last post posted" far too many times today.Including now for this thread.

I have achieved procrastination to the highest order.

I think admin should take full responsibility for my inability to get on with my huge long list of things that need doing, and should bar me until I have demonstrated I am mature enough to handle myself appropriately.

Got a ticket for the ECL game against Pool. Can't wait for this game, and the games against Rapid Fulham, and Man ure in coming weeks. It will show who is really up for the title. And whoever comes out on top will deserve it. It's Man Ures to lose at this point.

I did manage to get to the lavatory first - I was just trying to be funny. Really should have learnt by now at the ripe old age of blah, as a blonde I never quite manage it.

Thank you for the congrats - I'm va va vrooming all aroung the office...and managed to achieve nothing at all this afternoon! ;-)

    • Missing Cat! 11 months old/ Our friend, Coco, has gone missing. Last seen evening of 31st October near top of Henslowe rd where it meets Underhill Rd in SE22. We know she has started wandering up Friern Rd and further we guess but we imagine she has been spooked by Halloween / Fireworks goings on. She is a grey Siberian mix with some brown stripes down her, very friendly and likes to eat. Please let us know
    • That said, organised displays could be on Saturday before and after and the actual day, and private ones could just not have the loud ones.  It’s all down to accessibility and people caring/not caring
    • The problem this year is that 5th November falls on a Wednesday. So some places will be bringing their "bonfire night" forward to Saturday 1st and some will be knocking it back to Saturday 8th and there'll probably be a few that just go with Wednesday 5th anyway. If you're doing a public display, having it on a weekend gets more crowds. Which basically means a solid week of fireworks.
    • Fireworks in this area do feel totally incessant at this time of year, almost every evening there is terrible noise. I feel great concern for wildlife, pets (I have a senior cat who hates them), as well as people who struggle with PTSD etc. Last year I even had people setting them off in front of my home. Tonight and yesterday evening have been particularly bad. Is there anything we can do as a community to prevent this? What action can we take? Surely we shouldn’t be expected to just put up with it every year for weeks on end!
