I've not seen a bottle of Harvey's Bristol Cream since the 70s. I had no idea it was still in circulation. Bit like Blue Nun.

Probably because they started putting it in a blue glass bottle to make it look funky... more of a Tio Pepe man myself.

You could get very cheap sherry on draught in Nottingham in the 70's (and there was a choice). Harvey's Bristol Cream was the sherry equivalent of Chateau Lafite or one of those very expensive wines when impecunious

Lol, we used to have draught sherry, cider (including scrumpy) and port in out local Birkenhead off-licence in the early 80's! We'd take empty lemonade bottles to get ours and it was grim!
