CWALD! We agree! See I'm not all bad. I think some shareholders might not like us though.

Jeremy - really? Are you serious? I could see it working on very short routes where people travel only a few stops but anything longer and journeys would be exhausting. Not to mention the elderly, those with children, etc.

Commuting is hell - other people are hell (well those standing too close to me are).

If I could earn the same in ED as I do in the West End (or even just a bit less) I'd jump at the chance - it would improve my standard of living considerably.

(Puts hands down)

[Puts hand up]

Now, you try telling my boss that!

I wasn't being totally serious. But there more I think about the idea, the more I like it. Fold down seats could be provided, which are locked shut during peak hours. The elderly could have a separate compartment with floral armchairs and free cakes... give us all something to look forward to in a few years time.

So is the idea suggested by ???? (Loadsamoney?)to meet up with burning torches and pitchforks to sort out this uppity chav still a goer or not?

Debag the oik I say, that'll teach him some manners. It's what Boris Johnson would do.

Not at all Sean, though if there's any sort of prize attached to such a feat then I'll happily accept it. Just a combination of being off work sick, having a sleepless night and being new to the board.

Thanks and I like the name Sean too.

How the compliments flow when the quality meet as Brendan Behan once wrote. Though it was ironic when he wrote it, but not when I did.

Cheers, have a good Burns night.

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
    • Reeves says she's in charge and no no's Rayners plan, what happens now?
