dulwichquine
We used to go to the Little Clipper but they've put their prices up to ?13 which strikes me as really pricey. Anyone got any other suggestions? Thanks! Hollybush
Yep GMs are ?15 now! Get a mobile hairdresser to come to your house - find a recommendation on the boards here. I used Lena Sousa and she did a 4 yo for ?7 and a 2yo for ?5. Gidget
Another barber shop? The one in Melbourne Grove only charges ?10 for a man. Lots of recommendations on the forum have been made. DVnewbie
Oh yes - the one on Melbourne Grove, definitely. She's lovely and v good with children. She's only cut my son's hair but I'm sure she'd trim a little girl's hair too if you asked. BeccaL
Bokis in Herne Hill only charges ?8 I think. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/24688-where-to-get-a-childs-haircut-that-doesnt-cost-the-earth/#findComment-562877 Share on other sites
wellington
Definitely the other hairdressers on Melbourne Grove (across from the ice cream shop). Jenny cuts both my boys hair, is extremely good with children and gives a great cut. She charges ?8 but I always give her ?10 because she is so good. Moos
Jazz on LL recently did a good job on my 2, including wriggly and water-hating 1 year old. From memory ?10 a pop. QueenMab
Have you though about doing it yourself? After paying ?10 like a fool for the lady at Little Clippers to spend 2 minutes lunging at my 7-month-old (he has a lot of hair!) with scissors only to result in a terrible cut, I decided I couldn't do a worse job myself. I've done it twice now and it was easy and he looks great. alieh
We go to the barber/hairdresser beside the post office on Forest Hill Road (near the Co-Op, at the end of Dunstans). It was ?11 for my son but she spent ages cutting and layering (he has loads of very thick, straight hair) and did a great job. We had a serious mullet-tastic experience at Jazz on Lordship Lane but I think that was probably because of my bad instructions! chezzy81
Barbers on corner of Peckham Rye and Barry Road charge ?9 for children and the service is superb. Coffee/tea and biscuits/sweets offered while you wait and even a beer if preferred Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/24688-where-to-get-a-childs-haircut-that-doesnt-cost-the-earth/#findComment-563784 Share on other sites

KikiMac
As ever, go outside ED to get reasonable prices! Nunhead Lane 'Network' is great too. Cinzy (sp?) is lovely and charges ?6 i think... jollymummy
Another recommendation for GK Barbers on Melbourne Grove. I took my 3 year old boy this morning and he has just had one of the best haircuts he's ever had.
