Many thanks to Claire who stopped her car by the Goose Green Island just to say Hello - she recognised me from the Forum night-out photos.

Perhaps we should have a suitable greeting and response to confirm EDF membership in such random circumstances?

"Do you post?" followed by "Only to the East"

"There is a green hill ...." followed by "without a grotty old lamp-post"

Monica- I looked , then squinted (wearing my driving glasses),then shouted through my car window "East Dulwich Forum ?????" Then I went all pink because just for a split second our spy friend realised his cover had been blown and looked as though he was going to deny me 3 times. Thankfully, he graciously acknowledged me and I drove happily round our beloved roundabout safe in the knowledge that ED will be a safer place with Mr Mikewbate patrolling the streets.......

    • They seem to be having an identity crisis. SD Cafe? Aroma Lab Coffee? Either way, I look forward to the day they have a storefront. I live just around the corner & walk past every day, & I'm still not entirely sure what it's meant to be. For that reason, I'm not surprised if it often gets overlooked by passersby. Prior to all of this, it was Oriental Star - a wonderful Chinese takeout run by lovely people, & we were genuinely sad to see it go. It took a long time to find anything in this area that came close, & honestly, I still don't think we quite have.
