It's the most exciting, most anticipated event in the whole Olympics IMO. Who cares what they do on camera - it all adds to the build up and it's probably because they are as nervous as hell. I enjoyed watching Bolt and Blake after the race larking about on camera and interacting with the crowds, especially when Bolt did his trademark pose with the 2012 mini mascot!

I've seen so many people from all over the world win their events and often felt all lip-trembly and even a bit blubby (shh.. don't tell anyone). It's an exciting event, but after the 100m I felt nothing.

Worse than that, it was an unwelcome reminder that Sport + Fortune + Fame more often than not = act like a bit of a cock (See 'football').

Perhaps, but having a poo "during" the 100 metres is impressive.

That implies that El Pibe had time to leave the room, enter the loo, drop his slacks, drop the load, use the loo paper (one up, one down and one to polish) and re-enter the room, all within the period of the race.

Like I said, impressive.

    • Wow!  Is this the remnants of a wood pigeon?  We occasionally see the feathers following a kill but only once have I seen the hawk in the garden and certainly not like your experience.
