mothercourage
I'm tasked with trying to find a decent place to eat for 10 people this Saturday around London Bridge. All rather last minute. I've been to Roast and didn't rate it so that's out the equation. Anyone got any other bright ideas...? Jeremy
Zucca on Bermondsey Street is very good.Pizarro is excellent too, and while they don't usually take reservations, they have a couple of private rooms which I believe can be booked.Elliot's Cafe in Borough Market is decent, and a bit more modestly priced. I've also heard very good things about Applebee's (also in Borough Market), but I've not been personally.Bit of a curve-ball perhaps, but I really liked Tito's Peruvian restaurant (although my wife was rather unimpressed). Alan Medic
http://www.london-eating.co.uk/2821.htmWorth considering if you read the reviews. I've only ever had something to take away from there for lunch. PeckhamRose
We were rather impressed with the Chinese on Tooley Street but that is closer to Tower Bridge near Bermondsey Street junction. Just sayin'! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/25476-any-decent-restaurants-in-or-close-to-london-bridge/#findComment-574753 Share on other sites
annabel42
I liked Titos but I think it is more of a family type restaurant which welcomes young children. Certainly, when I went there with my extended family, they treated the children brilliantly. annabel42
You could try Guiseppes. I was taken there for one of my birthday celebrations mid-week and it was absolutely packed. Food portions too big for me but everyone else devoured everything in sight with gusto! Excellent pub inexpensive drinks upstairs. Twirly
I like Tas. And it's great at catering for your meat eater's and vegetarians alike (and special dietary requirements too).
