James, just wanted to say thanks for the recommendation of Song Que in Shoreditch. I moved into an office just down the street last week and tried it out and it as great. The fried tofu & veggies was delicious, though was disappointed with the spring rolls, but I will be back!

Whenever I see the thread on the front page I get excited, then realise that it refers to April 07 and isn't ging to happen

I would really recommend Hoa Viet on Camberwell Church St. I know it may be forbidden territory but the food is always good and very cheap.

I second Hoa Viet - just close your eyes if you are going to use the toilet there

Hoa Viet is very good, and further afield, West Lake on Deptford High Street is even better.
