Train route reliability

Does anyone regularly commute by train from East Dulwich to Wallington or thereabouts? I have a few weeks of work there (with an early start) and am wondering about the reliabilty of trains versus travelling by road. (I usually cycle to work but think this journey may be a wee bit too far!) Thanks

I think the connections from Honor Oak Park or Forest Hill may be faster and more reliable than from East Dulwich (both routes involve one change) if it's easy for you to get to either of those two station eg cycle and park up your bike.

Remember you could put you bike on the train at rush hour times as you will be going against the commutter flow - and that gives you the option of trying to cycle all the way if the mood takes you or the trains are screwed up in some way

Normal cycles are not allowed on Southern trains into London between 7-10am and 4-7pm weekdays from London.

London Overground's policy is the same on the ELL.

Folded cycles can be carried on board at any time.

FH on the other hand does have a sheltered cycle park if you fancy cycling to the station.
