That and the organic meat... What's really depressing is how thrilled certain people are that they can brag ED isn't as crime free as it could be. Why is that a "win" for the working class?

You can afford to go to the pub? Luxury! I remember when all we had for entertainment was a cup of water and Grandad playing the spoons.

ken78 I'm sure most people have worked for everything they have, no hand-outs or leg-ups, it's called working your balls off to try improve your circumstances. Your comments are BS you under-informed troll. Learn to spell proper like what us posh lot do, you're an embarrasment to OUR area, please leave ASAP.
If I have a win on the opera I go to the dogs... I once had that Pavarotti on a Placido yankee double but the b*st*rd got knocked wide on the last corner by Bryn Terfel. Still, had Carreras in the tote so still got enough for a swaray (sic) at White City - ah them were the days. :)-D

I have no idea how this managed to descend into class war? Why do you think that the middle class don?t work / work hard? Do you think after you finish university someone just gives you a bank card to use as you see fit?

Most professionals work very long hours / travel / work weekends as part of their contract whenever is necessary (which is often) without any extra pay. Lord knows I?d love one of these easy middle-class jobs I hear so much about that require no hard work, no intelligence or skill!

    • Another recommendation for Dulwich Test and Services Centre. Only been using them for a couple of years but wish I’d found them earlier
    • A new roadmap (surely railmap?!) for rail accessibility has been published: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/accessible-railways-roadmap It says "approximately 56% of stations and around 66% of the 1.3 billion journeys that take place on the network have step-free access to platforms...  "£373 million has been committed over the next 5 years to deliver Access for All projects, providing step-free access from station entrances to and between platforms, alongside other essential accessibility upgrades. These works, together, will increase the number of step-free stations across Great Britain from 56% to 58%. "This improvement will make travel easier with step-free access available at stations covering an increased share of total rail journeys – from 66% up to 71%" Don't know what that means for us here: upgrading Peckham Rye would cover a lot of rail journeys but the cost has no doubt increased from the £40m figure previously quoted. So that would eat into a lot of the funding.
