I dislike apple because they threw away innovation to be replaced by aspiration. They were the only real competitor in invention to MS and now well....

It's rather cute that anyone thinks that any other manufacturer would behave any differently if they had carved out the same market share as apple. If, say, Samsung end up dominating the gadget market in the way Apple have, do you think they'd hold back technological advances to make the most of future sales? Of course they would- it's called business.

Go and do something useful with your computer, Apple or otherwise - if you can. The truth is that whatever it is, it's most likely far more capable a piece of equipment than you deserve to own.
