Hello all,

I am also now back from our holiday and travels up north to see family. I have missed loads and loads of Thursday meet ups and will probably have to miss tomorrow and next week as my daughter has finished nursery but does not start school until next Friday so I am trying to find her lots of exciting things to do.

I hope you and babies are all really well and Maxwell and I will see you soon. I am looking forward to attending more and more baby groups as Maxwell is certainly starting to require more stimulation now!

Take care, Gemma

Ohh I forgot to say that I have enrolled Maxwell onto some swimming lessons with Born to Swim at Wavelengths leisure centre in Deptford. I can really recommend the teacher as I used her with daughter. The website is http://www.borntoswim.co.uk/ and we are booked on the starfish course, Tuesdays at 12 noon.

Hi everyone ! Really great to bump into you all last week. Seems like ages since I've met up with you properly after having loads of visitors. Really up for meeting on Thursday for a catch up if people are around? We have baby sensory until 12.30 but around after. The weather is meant to be nice so could do the peckham rye or the plough again? Or perhaps the rye pub as it has a nice garden and baby area?

Look forward to seeing some of you on Thursday.

Hi Hannah

I haven't been able to make last couple of weeks - keen to see everyone again.

Thursday is supposed to be good weather so what about a picnic in peckham rye park so that we can find a big bit of shade for all the babies? (freya is also now on the move in a sort of frog leg commando crawl kind of way and she is not a big fan of sitting on my lap anymore so a bit of floor space for her to mission around would be great).

the dog free picnic area at the top of the park seemed to work well last time.

what if we all brought a dish to share? (nothing elaborate and home made required, unless anyone inspired by bake off in which case I'll be happy to sample and give feedback!)

I can try and be there by 12.30 - have delivery coming some time before 1pm so may not make it there until a little bit later.

any thoughts gang? happy to give rye pub a go if people prefer - can test out baby area and maybe I can put a blanket on floor of garden for freya

    • I had this same query the other week - Mediquip no longer cover Southwark and I believe the company when bankrupt? Anyway, after some digging, I found the news on the adult social care page of Southwark Council website.  The new supplier of medical equipment that is issued to Southwark residents via an OT from the council or the NHS is Provide Equipment Hub.  I emailed them about returning two items and they did promptly respond and came and picked up the items the following week.  Email them at [email protected] Importantly, they will come and do urgent repairs of equipment like hospital beds.  I'm surprised that Southwark haven't made this change more widely known as it will impact many vulnerable residents.

    • Hello East Dulwich families 👋 I wanted to introduce myself to the community. I’m a professional family & wedding photographer with 14+ years of experience, and I split my time between the US and London throughout the year. I’ll be based in London for the coming weeks and would love to photograph more local families here in East Dulwich. My approach is very relaxed and natural — no stiff posing, no pressure — just real connection, movement, and the beautiful everyday moments that tell your family’s story. I work especially well with kids and parents who feel “awkward” in front of the camera (which honestly is most of us!). Sessions can take place at home, in the park, on your favourite street, or anywhere that feels meaningful to you. The goal is to create images that feel like your life — not a photoshoot. If anyone has been thinking about documenting this season with their children, I’d love to connect, answer questions, or simply share examples of my work. No pressure at all — just happy to be here and meet some neighbours. You can see my work here: https://bluesparkphotography.com/family/ (use the contact page on the site to send me a message if you're interested!).
