Even though Kimberley Clark apparently don't make any money making and selling Huggies nappies why is the brand not being sold to another company? Surely there must be some money in nappies?

Own brand nappies and wipes for us, Sainsbury's or Asda. The price of branded nappies and wipes is ridiculous imo!

I'm not really surprised the brands are struggling when supermarket's own are easily as good at a fraction of the price.

Lidls nappies and Huggies wipes.

Wipes are well over priced, so we tend to buy whatever is on offer, but I always stock up on Huggies when they're cheap.

That's a shame - I like huggies, they seem much softer than other brands. Saying that I too go for Sainsburys own (we're on Pull ups now). And Johnsons extra care wipes (the green stripey ones) that have through two children managed to successfully prevent nappy rash. On the subject of which, Pampers are the worst for us - I just bought a pack of Pampers recently and within a day my LO had sore bits. Back on to Sainsburys, and all better.

I find that Huggies are the only wipes that don't leave your hands stinking when you clean up a poo. That wins it in my book.

I have to change wipes regularly as they ALL start to have poo association smell after a while!!

Like huggies in that they are nice and thick but always have to fight to get the first one out...

No matter how many nappies I change, wipes will always remind me of camping at festivals so not too fussed about brands

Asda own brand wipes are amazing IMO...have used for both my lo's and can proudly say neither of them have ever suffered from sore bits, and at only 51p a pack you really can't grumble.

I'm not a massive fan of their wipes but for those who are apparently you can even launder them and re-use - if you were interested in being eco friendly and wanted some cloths to use around the house (assuming not TOO dirty without being crude) :)
