Fox outside looking in a sorry state

There's a young fox outside 22 upland Road (between the family store newsagents and the caf?. It's just outside the door hunched over looking very unhappy and not moving. Is there anyone/organisation that could help?

With toddler so have had to leave, but it's still there after quite a while...

Please call The Fox Project on 01892 731565. they are usually much more responsive than the RSPCA as deal only with foxes.

Do you know if the fox is still there? Bit worried about it! I could head down if needed but it's quite out of my way.

Yes, do not call the RSPCA as they may put it to sleep even if it can be saved. Call the fox project as advised above. They will come and get it and save it if possible.

We have four foxes regularly visit our garden on Overhill Road. One now has an injured back leg and is unable to use it. It is difficult to tell from the photo if it is the same fox, but it seems to be doing ok, and is moving around. I don't think anyone would be able to get close enough to it, to be able to treat it. I'll keep an eye out and will call the fox project if I think its condition is deteriorating.

Apologies for not replying sooner. When I went back the fox had gone - as had the ham my toddler chucked at it, so perhaps that's a good sign. I'm hoping its mum/family came and found it.
