I haven't been out much, and I just noticed this today.

The front inside is laid out as a shop, as it used to be when the Blue Mountain first opened back in the early nineties.

It seems they will do deliveries (menu in the window).

Does anybody have any more information?

Also, why has Maison Dog got its window boarded up? Has it closed down, or has somebody broken the window?

I walk past these 2 shops every day, i must say, a dog grooming shop seems like a very unnecessary thing in life. I have plenty of money to spend, but getting my dog minded in a shop would be the last way id spend it. It will do just fine in my house with a bowl of water and a bit of food left out.

I have gone out with some vegan women in the past and it was jolly hard trying to find a restaurant to schmooze them. In the end, i vowed to never go out with a vegan or vegetarian women again.

Back to the thread subject - the blue mountain vegan has an instagram account so maybe have a look on there - i thought it was the original blue mountain team, but might be wrong - didn't look in detail. Anyway, a vegan cafe will probably be well received and there isn't another one locally so its great. Nice to see some independents being able to move back in - hopefully that will be the up side of the empty units in that the huge rents previously being wanted are unachievable for landlords, bringing them into the level of more interesting independents. There's a new Georgian wine place opening where Tart was for example too.

One of my neighbours says that it IS the original Blue Mountain team (they had a chat with them) - crikey, from the early nineties then!

Thanks for the info re Instagram, I'll have a look.

Yes, delighted to see a vegan place locally.

Very sad to hear that Tart has permanently gone, but glad to see another independent place is opening there. I hope the lovely conservatory at the back won't be changed too much.

Sounds from Admin's comment on the other thread that it is a repeat offender. Or at least someone known to Admin.

Yes I saw the original chap (Mel I think) in there directing operations the other day - really pleased to see them back. I loved the original Blue Mountain, was a regular haunt with my little ones and they're now big & vegan so will be lovely to let them take me there!

Many of you have also asked, though, about how you can help ‘welcome’ Donald Trump to Windsor when he arrives there tomorrow (Tuesday) evening. So here’s the plan: We’re asking you to come and line Windsor High Street tomorrow in a peaceful, static protest.  Time: 6pm, Tue 16 Sept Location: Assemble outside Windsor Parish Church, High St, Windsor SL4 1LS and then spread out along the High Street. Grab some cardboard and a pen and make a homemade sign to show Donald Trump and his supporters what you think of them!  The world’s media will be in Windsor to cover the state visit, so showing visually that he is not welcome will send an important message far and wide. If you are coming then please join this Signal chat group for important updates.     Protest safety Please buddy up and come with someone else You have a right to peacefully demonstrate, but we are expecting a high police presence. Remain non-violent and non-confrontational, and do not talk to the police. It may be better to dress inconspicuously, not like an ‘activist’ We plan on ending at 7.30pm. Please leave in groups of 5–10 and make sure you have a bust card This action is entirely legal but we still recommend that you read this key advice when going on a protest to know your rights. Remember:  No comment No personal details Ask ‘under what power?’ No duty solicitor Don’t accept a caution Here is the protest support line: 07946 541 511 and here is more information on Stop & Search under the Public Order Act.   Thank you for being part of the movement against Trump. In solidarity, Stop Trump Coalition
    • We booked a day when we could drop around 8 bags. They directed us to use the rear entrance on Carver Rd. I would definitely ring as they don’t seem to have much space at the back. Our experience was great, they were very polite and thankful.
