New queues

Today I came pass Lidl at Surrey Quays and the queues have started again with a large line in place.

Please lets hope that panic buying is not going to take hold at Sainsbury's again.

Would it be possible to up date if this is starting again.

Was on my way to Sainsburys this lunchtime when I met a couple of friends on Lordship Lane.

They had driven to Sainsburys and drove straight back home again.

They advised me that at Sainsburys they were queuing right around the carpark. Panic buying again.

Co-op was fairly quiet but M&S seemed busier.

The situation will only get worse. People are stupid.

And they all turned up using public transport, bikes or walking to make sure they could not buy to much

Went to JS this afternoon around 2:30 - no queue - walked straight in. Didn't get the feeling there was any issues really.

Sainsbury's Local was fine when I popped in at 3pm. Plenty of stock.

Was in Sainsburys DKH today 12:30 ish

No queue to get in.

Queues to pay. only 2 Tills open apart from Self service. 20 mins + with 9 items.

No Plain Flour.. a few empty shelves.

Small queues outside Tesco in Rye Lane - just a couple of people but they weren't there since July.

I wonder if the arrows and spacing will return.

I would just avoid Peckham, very uncivilised behaviour there previous to and even during the last lockdown.

Sainsburys DKH today about 1300- hardly any toilet paper- only the fancy Cushelle and Andrex extra comfort....

No eggs, spaghetti or chocolate digestives in Lidl. I'd planned a lovely meal with these three ingredients tonight. PM me if you have stockpiled and would loan me some, or sell at an extortionate rate. Instead I'll be eating toilet paper.

M&S had a queue outside on Friday lunchtime. Is that normal now?

Not sure if it is normal or due to lockdown but when I passed through LL yesterday morning there appeared to be a big queue that stretched from M & S, passed the post Office and all the way down to Barclays Bank, difficult to say what queue was for what business.

But a lot of people.

Update - late morning today in DKH Sainsbury's, stock was OK, biscuit aisle had some bare shelves plus no walnuts. Otherwise had everything needed. Yes and thankfully no queues. Lady on door very nice.
