Hi Everyone.


We've recently moved to East Dulwich and absolutely love it. A lot of our 'new' items in our house are from you kind people on this forum, so thank you very much! We really were not in a position to buy loads of new expensive things from the shops so it was amazing to find this. Also, we've met some really lovely people who gave us tips on good places to go.


I'm going to be doing a lot of my Christmas shopping from the shops on Lordship Lane, hopefully putting a little something back into the local community.


So, this is just a massive thank you for everyone for being so welcoming and generous since we've moved here! :)

My first post was deleted so I must have done something wrong. Apologies to the Admin so I'll say here that I'm new here and looking forward to shoppping down Lordship Lane to get some interesting and individual Christmas for my family and friends this year.


This is a great little forum with lots of info for the newbie so keep going people, it's really handy :)

      please report this to the police - were there any witnesses? She should face charges. the owner should not allow dogs off lead - I'm so sorry this has happened.  It would be good if you can identify her - are there cameras - in the cafes around? - follow her, find her address and report her. https://www.met.police.uk/advice/advice-and-information/ac/animal-crime/ also report to the park wardens so they can be found Your Local Council: Contact them to report issues in parks or public areas, especially if you know the dog or owner, as they investigate under local bylaws and the Dangerous Dogs Act. https://www.gov.uk/control-dog-public/report-a-dog

      This is just dreadful.  Do you have this woman's contact details? These  are probably the last things on your mind at the moment while you are looking after your poor puppy, but firstly, the dog who attacked is  clearly both dangerous and out of control. Can it be reported to the police? Secondly, surely the owner is responsible for your vet bills? I do hope your puppy recovers quickly and so do you and your husband and children. It must have been really traumatic for all of you. Some people just shouldn't have dogs if they don't know how to train them.
