I went to the plough last night and there was an acoustic band called the nites aaaaaaawsome you can check them out on myspace.com/thenites.

What a lovely pub and the food is amazing. Anyway a good night.

Extraordinary coincidence. A quick google search reveals that the lead singer of The Nites is called Antony Gold.

If you want to promote your band please do, but credit us with some sense. Please.

old hustle, sounds to me as though he's being entrepreneurial in a Del Boy sort of way.

I'm inclined to condemn Anthony's actions in the strongest possible terms. He's trying to gull

innocent forum members into attending one of nhis group's shows by means of the basest sort of subterfuge.

HonaloochieB, I have no idea what is going on in your head, but the efficiency of your post really appeals to me - making both sides of the argument yourself so we don't have to waste any time. Well done.

I really don't mind at all if Anthony wants to promote his band, but I dislike sneakiness. If he wants to tells us all that they're great that's fine, I might even give them a listen, but he should be honest about it.

He's been strangely quiet though since his first (and last?) post.
