Got around to getting myself the Dark Was The Night Compilation today

As recommended by Laura Barton. And David Carnell

It really doesn't matter if you haven't heard any of these artists before. Read that review from Laura Barton again. It's that wonderful. If you can't find a treasure chest of goodies here, you can't like music...

"neither of which can I find in the musical desert that is Victoria!!" couldn't agree more, MP - though quite why you have to go all the way to Australia to look for records is beyond me.

Anyways, I'm currently absorbed my this new band I've just discovered: Elbow.

    • Of course they do, watching cookery shows and buying cook books is a national pastime. However you raise a good point that some people claim they are time poor and end up eating out / takeaways as sometimes a quick macciedee is cheaper and easier than making a quick nutrious family meal.  However to put it in balance, not many people have the knowledge, confidence and time to cook Persian so good luck to team persepolis on this venture.
