Mugwump Jism !

Secreted by the mysterious Mugwumps of Interzone, Mugwump Jism is a colorless liquid that produces intoxicating effects on humans.

In fact, Mugwump Jism actually comes in two finely distinguished varieties, with similar effects. Strangely, what excites the Mugwumps (who are sentient bipeds of about the same size as humans, and appear to be some form of amphibian) to produce this drug is artistic creation, especially of a literary variety.

However, they do produce it even without this inspiration, albeit at a slower rate, and it is a sad but not uncommon sight in Interzone to see a chained Mugwump surrounded by a small circle of addicts sucking upon its excretions.

Not unless someone remixed the K&D sessions. Otherwise, I think its Kruder who has his own stuff out under the name Tosca, but I dont know if he has released anything lately. Chocolate Elvis is a good one of his. This makes me feel old, I loved this set in college.

One of my faves.... Cut Chemist and DJ Shadow "Product Placement" Listenable here: http://www.discogs.com/DJ-Shadow-Cut-Chemist-Product-Placement/release/209962

WARNING: Do NOT get your freak on while listening to this album. When the "Cookin' With Gas" section comes on, it will kill all passions instantly. I speak from experience.

'Exile' by Hurts.

Their first album two years ago was brilliant & had amazing reviews.

This is their follow-up, 80's/synth/pop/indie?

Don't really know as they are a combination of all 4.

It is quite dark & deep & depressing,

Which I can relate to & why I love it so much.

I thought the first album was outstanding

This is quite different- no midlake- which was always going to make a difference to how it sounded, there's a more electronic sound to a lot of it; but lyrically he's covering similar ground. Angry and bitter, unsurprisingly.

I wanted to like queen of denmark more than I did, ot was more something to be admired than enjoyed, though there are some beautiful stand out tunes.

Will check on spotify before committing to a second.

Just got Help She Can't Swim's second and final album from an amazon partner for 96p, joy!!

    • I’m not sure how many other people have experienced this; but both me and one of my friends have the same story. Around Crawthew Grove and Crystal Palace Road: I was followed by a large fox right on my heel. At first I didn’t notice because I had my headphones on, but then I noticed my shadow had an extra lump in it, funnily enough, it was a fox, very very close to my feet. Even if I sped up walking it just tried to get closer - it was quite frightening actually, it was quite clear that it wanted to nip me. I didn’t know what to do so, I started to reprimand the fox and walked slowly away from it, facing it - which it didn’t seem to like and backed off a bit. I then proceeded to speed-walk away.   Quite frankly, the whole situation was quite embarrassing and a little bit frightful as I’d never had a fox even come up to me. I’ve heard of particularly curious foxes that might come up to someone who beckons them, and maybe even bite that person, but I’ve never heard of a fox chasing someone. The amount of confidence that it had was incredible.    When it happened, I was on the way to see some friends, and once I had told one of them, she told me the same thing happened to her.  if anyone else knows anything about this bitey fox then let me know!
    • Another recommendation for Andy. I needed an old kitchen removed as an emergency. Andy came over quickly and did a fantastic job. I have used Andy a few times. He is punctual, helpful and always does an  excellent job.
