I'm with Annaj. When I posted this before:

Sean posted me a wee clip off youtube to try and persuade me. I was unmoved I'm afraid.

PS - Bleurgh!

He may well be all of the above, though as I'm perhaps of the 'shirt buttons on the right' gender and at least heterosexual in intent his appeal may be lost on me.

But funny? As the proverbial bastard burning orphanage from what I've seen.

Ok, ok. I have to admit I have never seen or read an interview with him, so I'm willing to concede that he may have some redeeming personality features.

But sexy? No, sorry, defnitely not. I just couldn't sleep with a man who weighs less than me!

hear hear Steve T - Those beanpole guys like Russell Brand in their skinny jeans make me heave! And what's with his eyeliner?! Russell Brand Vs Russell Crowe? No contest - give me that rugged and brawny Aussie God any day..

and don't get me started on the vermin that is Pete Doherty...

Seems like a life time ago, but I still hanker after it. When women were soft, gentle, and feminine........

Men were butch brauny beefcakes that could do any job around the place, and would come home from the pub scoff his supper drop his wages into her lap and give her a good seeing to before breakfast.

It was all much simpler in those days...........

How true, Steve.

I think things started to go downhill when it became less acceptable to beat your wife if they had the gall to ask for more than their agreed 'pin money'.

They should never have been given the right to vote. Give 'em and inch..

I absolutely hate televisions in public waiting rooms. Twice in the last week I've been forced to endure "Jerry Springer" and "Trisha". It's impossible to concentrate on my book on Scrabble tactics with that drivel in the background.

Could they not at least tune it to the OU?

    • Fair points, not arguing with you on them.  What people forget is that immigrants or low skilled workers do the jobs the home population don't want to do and without those jobs being done, things very quickly grind to a halt, i.e. hospital cleaners, all very necessary, but I'd have thought the majority are on minimum wage. And Minimum Wage (35hrs/wk) isn't exactly what I'd call minimum. Just over £21K, easily double and a bit more than what I get in monthly pension income to live off.
    • Well he couldn’t deliver anything better than a poor brexit. Because no such thing exists
    • Fair points jazzer. But it begs the question, on what information are people basing their opinion? because if it’s x or the right wing media the of course they will believe nothing has happened but people who claim to be motivated by rising immigration numbers are either ignorant of or don’t care the those numbers have dropped significantly since Labour got in Hospital waiting lists are finally showing improvements after years of getting worse people on minimum wage are better off We haven’t had a random general election or new prime minister just months after the last one  compare that to Tory chaos Important relations with other countries (important for long term trade and growth) have improved under labour given the size of the mess they inherited it’s far better than many give credit for  and the prospect of a Badenoch and/or farage govt returning us to the chaos of last 10 years? No thanks (I could do a long list of things Labour have done wrong or badly but that’s for another thread. I did not vote for Labour, but all things considered they are a massive improvement on what came before. Unfortunately we have a bunch of far right agitators kicking off around the country because they are cry babies which gives impression country is going downhill  when it’s really not)
