We've got so many amazing local independent businesses in East Dulwich and I just wanted to sing my praises to Dulwich DIY who have bailed me out on numerous occasions. I've always had a soft spot for hardware shops such as DD, they really do have just about everything. Foxes digging up my window boxes? No problem, scoot to the rescue. Run out of battery powered tea lights on Christmas eve? Don't fret they've got your back... Lock on the bathroom door bust? I could go on :D This is not an advert for them for any that might suspect, I'm just a Dulwich DIY lover who wanted to share the joy with a painting that I thought some locals might enjoy.

Thankyou so very much, I must paint more shops and I don't doubt the other DIY shops are good, I'm just partial to this sort of stlye and always have been, a family holiday growing up wasn't complete without a trip around independent hardware shop that stocked everything under the sun and I've not once come out of here without what I went in for!

Thanks Annie, I do actually, I've got a few other shops, most of the local pubs, some of the parks and a street scene too, though it saddens me we won't have Franklins Farm shop to enjoy anymore, at least it is immortalised here from a distance! Any more suggestions of loved places do let me know. Here's a couple more

    • John recently skimmed the walls in our front room lounge, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result. From start to finish, he was professional, punctual, and easy to work with.   He arrived on time each day and kept me updated on progress, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The quality of his plastering is smooth, even, and ready to paint with minimal prep. He takes real pride in his work.   John was also very tidy, laying down protective sheets and cleaning up thoroughly after the job was done. It’s clear he respects his clients’ homes, which I really appreciated.   On top of that, he’s friendly, approachable, and trustworthy someone you feel comfortable having in your home. His pricing was fair and transparent, with no unexpected costs.   Highly recommended if you're looking for a skilled and reliable plasterer. I’ll definitely be using him again for any future work.
    • You what???   Think you Should have gone to woodfalls 😁
    • Your second point contradicts your first (and previous post)
    • I'm guessing they're busy. I found out just now that the SNT has tracked down the kids who attacked my dog, had strong words with their parents, and the gang has now broken up. I got a lot of detail, which I won't go into here, but it sounds as if they were also quite compassionate towards some of the kids, some of whom may not have had the easiest of lives.  I know that those kids had nothing to do with the attack of the man in August and that they are also aware of the fireworks problem. Sounds like good community policing.
