Are you being adversely affected by the LTN measures? Like many of us you will have suffered increase levels of pollution as a resident and pedestrian. And as a bus passenger, or vehicle driver, you will have suffered increased delays.

You may also have been unfairly penalised for driving down a street at the wrong time.

To counter the LTN campaign some of us are arranging for the supply of message boards - similar to those used by estate agents. These boards can be mounted on poles (also being supplied),displayed in windows or on walls. See attached. Board size is 600mm x 600mm.

This will be of particular interest to people on EDG, Lordship Lane, Croxted Road, Dulwich Village, Gallery Road etc

If you would be willing to display one of these boards, please get in touch by PM.

Sure, see attached.

How many do you want for your friends and neighbours ?

You may need advertisement consent from Southwark Council and a licence from the Dulwich Estate to erect an "estate agent" style sign.

You may want to check the Planning Portal as this type of sign does not fall under Class 3 of the advertisement control system in England. The present rule is the Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) Regulations 2007 which has been in force since 6 April 2007.

No matter how hard you try, and how genuine your intentions, someone on here will find a way to extrapolate what you have specified in your poster as either racist, sexist, anti-environmental, or drugs related!

Have checked the regulations and they would not be infringed.

The rules on Estate Agents boards are quite simple and largely refer to size, position and quantity.

Shhh - Throughout London we're all putting up signs about the Cladding Scandal and if planning want to complain they may want to pay for replacement cladding and the other issues that a failed system caused :)

I don't even know what this means. The point is, one doesn't need to create a new thread every time they want to comment on LTNs, either for or against. There are at least half a dozen separate threads on the topic already.

  • 2 weeks later...

Don't forget to fill in the Southwark 'consultation' on the Dulwich LTN road closures/traffic cameras/fines etc

Link is here- https://consultations.southwark.gov.uk/environment-leisure/dulwich-review/

Please urgently share with your friends/neighbours etc too

Last chance to get these money making/polluting measures removed...

    • Is this a popular event? If great demand for this sort of event on such a small space then so be it. It is just with Peckham Common so very close by just wondering why this is considered a preferable venue for this kind of thing?
    • Another recommendation for Jason who is brilliant all-round. He plastered our rooms and hallways (some walls were blown and needed re-boarding), replaced two ceilings and over-boarded one. From the start he was always communicative, happy to pop by to assess first, and transparent about the various options and their associated costs. He worked thoroughly, going above and beyond to make sure every job was finished to a high standard and is very fairly priced, particularly considering the hours he puts in. We’re so pleased with the results of our flat and have already recommended him unreservedly to others. Also helps that he is just a sound guy who’s really easy to chat to!
    • Well let’s put it this way - certainly alot more alert when I am in town than I use to be . Don’t feel unsafe just a lot more cautious and aware of my surroundings.  Tend to avoid walking anywhere in town as in London or Dulwich etc when it gets dark. Personal choice and certainly more people muttering or talking to themselves than before. Witnessed road rage years ago on Ladbrook Grove in broad daylight - memory still haunts me!!
