Barry's DIY shop Finds Fame

I see Barry's DIY shop on Forest Hill Road is bedecked with lights, cameras and a cold-looking crew. Apparently they're filming a commercial there! Wonder what they're advertising.

The shop was used as a location for a drama that the film crew are going to try and sell to the main TV companies. It involves a guy who desperately wants to get on the box, and in a last ditch attempt, tries to feature on the news by taking a shopowner hostage. Barrie kept out of the way, so will not appear on the small screen! Now THAT would have been interesting! We did have posters all over the windows for the last week, but as most people didn't notice them, sorry if you were taken unawares!

It's a short film about reality TV; acording to a memeber of the crew that I spoke to.

I heard it's a drama set in the shop.

The plot is about an escaped lunatic who has sex with a kitchen assistant and then makes good his escape.

The working title is Nut Screws Washer And Bolts.
