Wanders into super new revamped lounge. Smiles to self - thinks, "all is familiar..."

Releases small dog from handbag - points long perfectly manicured finger at Michael. Watches dog leap onto Mr Plopalots lap and sink his teeth into front of his trousers.

Looks at Mr MacGabhann and whispers - "darling, you should know better - there is never any reason to be coarse!"

Takes bottle of St Veran from fridge and sits with Mr MacGabhann to observe the side show!

*WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA - Its been peaceful for literally weeks and that mad woman comes back from her vacation in some sun kissed paradise and sets her flea-bitten mutt on my privits, sends my much cherished donkey to Australia - in chains and starts showing round her latest Razzle shots !!!*

*Welcome back DM - missed you XX*

*Walks in and looks around the new room*

*Slumps in to brand new Lazy Boy with built in beer cooler*

*Curses luck at not being short listed for the job he wanted, because apparently, although his application was one of the better for content, his language was too casual, and showed that his report writing wouldn't suit bloody Southwark Council's great standards!!!!!! Even though they've never seen one of his reports, and didn't think to ask his current manager if he's any good..... C**TS!!!!* :X

*Pours a worryingly large JD, sparks up a fag and looks around daring someone to challenge him about it*

*Starts flicking through the jb pages of the SLP...... Decides that slashing wrists is the only way forward, and is preferable to continueing employment in Woolwich for evil Greenwich Council!!!!!!*

Trots back into quiet room. Passes large Starbucks latte to lovely Keef as he is hung over from drinking Zombies.

Takes baby wipes from bag and wipes tiny blood splatters from capacious designer handbag. Pours Evian into dog water dish and pats lovely pet on the head.

"Good doggy, well done..."

    • Thanks for the response and to some who PM’d me. I’m now included on the Patient Participation Group (meeting next in Dec) so I’m going to feed back the comments here, good and bad. Update today to PPG members is that, as some of you have said, there is a new contact in place with GP practices with effect from 1 Oct. That appears to be the driver for some of the changes we’ve seen at The Gardens. From the responses here, though, patients might be getting an inconsistent message from the Surgery; I was definitely told that appointments must be made through the app, and only the app. It was only when I expressed concern that a strictly online service would not be suitable for all, that I was told by the receptionist that she could complete the request for me (or others if needed). Even then, then patients would need to await a text from the Practice. Perhaps we are just teething problems with the new provision…Happy to bring any and all comments to the PPG meeting (although I’m aware that the most digitally-excluded people probably aren’t on EDF!) Thanks folks.
    • Hi everyone! For the past 12 years, we’ve been turning 27 Oglander Road into a spooky Halloween stop for all the trick-or-treaters — and this year it’s going to be our biggest and scariest one yet👻🎃 Expect creepy decorations, surprises, and even a few hide-and-seek prizes for the brave ones who dare to look 👀 We’ll be set up from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Thursday 31st October, so come by if you fancy a fright and some Halloween fun! 🕸️ Everyone’s welcome — kids, grown-ups, and ghouls alike!
    • Went to a fireworks display maybe 20 years ago at the Crystal Palace, it wasn't bonfire night, can't remember why it was being held, Capital Radio were there. There were people hanging from a crane, classical music, and quiet fireworks,  It was lovely, still dramatic with the colours but no loud bangs. Not sure why this hasn't become the norm.
