I'm about ten days into mine.. this time it seems to be quite grey around the chin, which is a new development. About 60% of the area of mine is below the chin line.

MrJ (aka Bignumber5) has recently grown a beard and I'm a bit put out. Until our wedding day he was always clean shaven and, to the best of my knowledge, a blonde. Now he has this beard which is, well, bright, flaming orange! At first I really wasn't keen, mostly because of the whole recessive ginger genes shock, but I'm getting used to it.

I haven't told him yet, but I think I'm going to let him keep it.

Not sure the answer to your question Moos, but if I stood in a wood for two weeks, my beard would be non-existent.

Personally though, I think this whole beard thing is a cover-up.
