giggirl
Ray Lamontagne is back next year with new vinyl (long time coming). I haven't heard it but the new stuff is being very well reviewed. London gig on sale now and the best way to avoid outrageous booking fees is to buy direct at www.barbican.org.uk. If you buy direct from the Barbican then you can always return the tickets at a later date if you are unable to use them.Mr Carnell, NOBODY can be compared to the BOSS; he's incomparable. I'm flouncing. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/304-music-room-its-fully-soundproofed/page/59/#findComment-140026 Share on other sites
giggirl
The Ray Lamontagne gig at the Barbican sold really quickly and the seats that are left aren't brilliant. The Monday night will eventually be added but if, like me, you loathe the Barbican, may I recommend the Friday night gig at the Dome in Brighton? It's a lovely venue and you can buy direct at http://www.brightondome.org/AC DC London gig on sale tomorrow (Friday 17th) and it will be another frenzy! david_carnell
This would also go on the "secret crushes thread" (as I had a bit of a thing for the lead singer) but how did it go sooo downhill after this: Although now I'm wondering if I'm alone in loving this? giggirl
That's one of my all time favourite Bowies and I really like this version. Try this version of Kashmir from the No Quarter Album, it's sublime. Rather long I'm afraid, but worth it. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=_MHfDWaKO9sWhen I kick the bucket and my coffin is thrown into the flames, it will probably be to the pounding, relentless Kashmir riff (turned up to 11). giggirl
Dear Mr Carnell, I wish you the very best of health and all that; but should you shuffle off any time soon then I'm definitely coming. Great BB video too; don't they look young! Scary stuff - I remember it first time round (when it wasn't a good idea to drive a VW). I think you should stick with Paranoid though. What a great song to be buried to.
