damzel Posted February 2, 2009 Share Posted February 2, 2009 Oh no, I don't want a Somerfield there, you can get pretty much everything they sell from the smaller shops that are nearby. I wonder how it will affect their businesses. Parking can be a problem around there anyway and Somerfield will only make it harder for me to park outside my house. Apparently I can't object though because my reasons don't appear to be valid. This from the licensing site:Objections must relate to one or more of these four licensing objectives. 1. They have been taken over by the Co-op, who are in the process of selling off some Somerfield stores and changing the rest to Co-ops.There's a separate thread about this elsewhere in relation to the Lordship Lane Somerfield.
