First Time Mums - April/May Births

Recommended Posts

Hi

Sorry I couldn't make it on Monday, still no baby news yet! I think this Monday is looking a little unlikely, but hope to be able to make a meeting soon - maybe on Monday week?

Hope all is going well for everybody x

Hi fellow stripey toppers and mum's to be!

Sorry you couldn't make it yesterday. Hopefully see you at a future meeting. My due date is this Friday so I may have a baby in tow next time.

Hannah and Desiree - nice to see you yesterday

Hi everyone!

Any babies arrived yet? Bex any signs yet?

My due date is Wednesday but feel like I'm just twiddling my thumbs - anyone fancy coffee on Tuesday or another day this week ? Don't think I can face just waiting around! Good luck to everyone if there is any news.

Hi Hannah,

I hope you're good.

Not sure if you meant me or the other Bex, but mine hasn't arrived as of yet and no real signs although the baby is engaged which is something!

I could potentially meet for coffee on Tuesday providing there are no developments in the meantime. I also feel like I'm twiddling my thumbs.

Hope everyone else is well.

    • I highly recommend James. I had a few sets of lights (indoor and outdoor) that were no longer working. I texted him yesterday afternoon about the problematic lights, and he had fixed them all by this morning! Very happy that he investigated the issues and found fixes, rather than immediately saying I needed to replace everything, which was the standard response by others. I had other electricians (many who are recommended on this forum) that came round to inspect the work and told me I'd need to replace the lot for a substantial cost. Extremely professional and prompt with very reasonable pricing.
    • Indeed and possibly because with such an extensive wish list as stated, it will be a nigh on impossible to achieve a suitable property for that budget, outside the Village or Alleyn Park area. Even then, all wishes being equal, it would need  > £3m to get a suitable  property.  Compromise  would seem appropriate therefore , which suggests rating each "wish" in order of priority.
