Party venues or spaces for hire

My daughter is turning 7 soon (how did THAT happen?). I was hoping to have her party somewhere other than at home. Are there any halls/spaces for hire in Nunhead or East Dulwich that are reasonable? I am just after a largish space for kids to play and have some food in. Will probably be hiring an entertainer of some description and supplying the food myself.

Albrighton Centre on Dog Kennel Hill.

Newly rebuilt, 2 sizes of hall to choose from, roof terrace if required, lots of parking nearby.

The larger hall is ?25ph, the smaller hall ?17ph.

That sounds promising will google it thanks... anyone had any experience with space opposite Peckham Rye Park (Nunhead end)? Not sure what it is called

You could try the Honor Oak Community Centre. It?s not too far from Ivydale Road and has a large hall and kitchen as well as a smaller room/cr?che space (nice for younger children? parties) and a garden. From what I can remember the price is around ?25.

Upstairs at The Castle pub is good. I had my little girl's party there and the lady who runs it is lovely - it was so reasonable to hire and she let us decorate it the night before. There's a little stage and a kitchen/oven, plus the traditional boozer downstairs in case parents want to stay nearby.

Rye Hill TRA, by Peckham Rye Park. Harris Girl's (used to have a bouncy castle, I don't know if they still do).Buchan Hall, top of Buchan Rd in Nunhead, near the Cemetery. Local church halls. Upstairs at the Nun's Head?
