How horrendous, I read the newsreport on the couple on holiday, but how often have you seen half cut parents rolling out of the pub with young children in tow, I think it is awful and damn irresponsible and there should be laws against it, you can't be in charge of a car when you are drunk, so why are there so few laws or legislation against being drunk and in control of young children in the same circumstances? (especially toddlers and especially in public places)

There is a law against it. Its illegal to be drunk in charge of children below the age of i think 7 yrs.

Well I have! a very obviously tipsy young mum one Sunday afternoon pushing a pram and dragging a toddler behind her! Plus have to say my parents were guilty of this too and were real heavy drinkers, especially on a Saturday afternoon and we practically had to carry them home at times, so it does happen Thanks Spadetownboy for the info.

    • Hi Anthony  Have you tried the website Fatllama?
    • Might be worth pointing out it might be a good idea to be suspicious of anyone who comes near you that is wearing a mask. Covid is a thing of the past In the same area I have seen several young lads wearing masks on bikes, they slow down when going past anyone 'fiddling' with mobile phones. they move on if its an old model that is not worth stealing. There have been several incidents of movile phone thefts around Goose Green. YES  some people  are immune deficient  and perhaps still feel they need to wear a mask although I question how nessesary that is in the open air.
    • Should Estates agents also take some responsibility for this.  In our case it feels like they have been acting on behalf of the buyer not the seller even though we are paying then for their service.  Just to be clear I have reassured the buyer whose house we are buying off that we still pay them what we promised. When this is all over should I states which Estate agent is involved??
