I saw the poo flaging at the weekend...very exciting. Even with the flags, my 16 mnth old managed to find an 'unflagged' poo-Brilliant! I also saw the poo sucking on my way back, and wondered if there was room in the tank for lazy dog owners....mmm!?

Wow, there really is a 5 page thread about a fence!

I thought I'd imagined it.

I don't really go near GG, but to offer an opinion, I would say give the dogs the larger share of the green, as they want to run around a lot more than your average child.

As for the fence, I doubt any fence will make a lot of difference. People that break rules will break rules regardless.

I cant beleive that given how much poo is apparently being excreted/deposited in the park that any dog still needs to poo all the way down Adys road but regular as clockwork, there is dodge the poo style dancing all the way to school (st johns and St Clements). A hot spot seems to be right where the crossing lady has to stand which means she has had to become dual purpose helps children negotiate the road safely as well as walking the pavement without the added excitement of skidding in poo. Are dog owners in the area especially inadequate at cleaning up or is this part of an on going protest relating to the fence and a dog's right to poo where it wants ?

    • We've been using Modern Milkman for six months or so.  Good and reliable service and intuitive website
    • The receptionist did request a phone call and there was an issue where seeing the symptoms would have been helpful , plus I had questions I wanted to ask - but I just got a text with very generic advice (e.g. if X happens, go to A&E).  You can definitely request routine appointments by phone. Perhaps it's at the doctor's discretion with same day ones.  Having said all that, I think it's a pretty good surgery compared to some.
    • I recommend Andy—he was punctual, tidy, resourceful, clear about timing and pricing, and did quality work at relatively short notice. I would use his services again and have already recommended him to friends.
    • You can still  request a phone appointment with a doctor, I think, if it's an issue you need to ask questions about? Or, I have had questions quickly answered by a GP  via their online system. Hopefully all this is teething problems, and the staff as well as patients are having to get to grips with a relatively new system. I can fully understand that it is much better all round if GP face to face appointments are saved for things that need a physical examination, and it must mean that patients who do need one  are seen more quickly than under the old system?
